<font:Arial Bold:32>Notation - Basics<font:Arial:16>
<lmargin%:8>
The notation system consists of individual notes or chords separated by commas. The lowest note for most instruments is <font:Arial Bold:16>C3<font:Arial:16> and the highest <font:Arial Bold:16>C6<font:Arial:16>.

The default delay between notes is 500 milliseconds (120 beats per minute).

Here's a simple example:
<lmargin%:10>
<font:Arial Bold:20>C4<color:FF0000>, <color:000000>D#4<color:FF0000>, <color:000000>G4<color:FF0000>, <color:000000>A#4
<font:Arial:16><lmargin%:8>

You can also use chords to play several notes at once using the <font:Arial Bold:16>+ (plus)<font:Arial:16> symbol.

Example:
<lmargin%:10>
<font:Arial Bold:20>C4<color:FF0000>+<color:000000>C5, C4<color:FF0000>+<color:000000>E4<color:FF0000>+<color:000000>G4<color:FF0000>+<color:000000>C5, D4<color:FF0000>+<color:000000>F4<color:FF0000>+<color:000000>A4
<font:Arial:16><lmargin%:8>

Unfortunately, due to the Torque Engine's limitations, you can only use up to <font:Arial Bold:16>4 (four)<font:Arial:16> notes per chord.
